Hi there! I’m Harsh.
I use Human Factors and UX principles to make things (read as systems, software, and products) easy, safe, and efficient for healthcare workers and patients alike.
At Carilion Clinic, the hospital system I work for, my team and I help build innovative products using rapid prototypes tested on real healthcare workers.
I love looking at problems from a systems perspective: I use qualitative methods to probe into the issues and identify potential solutions and quantitative methods to validate my findings so we can improve user experience with products and systems. We go into the field to speak with, learn from and empathize with our healthcare workers to help make their work easier and our patients' care safer.
I am also heavily involved in working with early-stage start-ups to ensure their system, software, and implementation work best for both providers and patients alike.
Before was in healthcare, I worked at the Mind Music and Machine lab, where I used HCI, Human Factors research, and design methods to build and test systems and experiments that improve the way people interact with autonomous vehicles, especially angry people!
If you would are interested in learning more about my work or just want to say hi send over an email to harshksanghavi@gmail.com or connect with me on LinkedIn.
I’m currently looking for full-time positions in UX Research.
